As one that suffers from depression and anxiety, among other things, I feel what you mean in your poem. It is definitely a huge message for such a short piece of work. Good job. The artwork is absolutely perfect, as well.

Yes indeed, it's more than time that mental illness is treated as an illness without the stigma. Your rhymed couplet packs a punch even without the illustration.

I love your two lines. As an individual who has worked in the mental health field and has much mental health issues in her family, it is so important for mental health to be seen differently. Excellent poem that is relevant to today and has an important meaning.

Mental health DOES matter as equally as physical health. And yes, there is still a stigma attached to those who seek mental health services. How incredibly sad... especially in this day and age...

That's so true. It's shameful the way people who struggle with mental illness are treated. Not only do they struggle with their disease, but also with stigma and rejection. It makes me so sad to think about it. Good luck in the contest.
