This piece touched my heart. . .to have a family with such a love for God and His teachings and the strong foundation His teachings have given you, her and your family is inspiring to say the least. Every young adult should have such support as they leave the security of home and family in finding a place in the world for themselves. Not many young people have had such a blessing. This story is an inspiration.

What a beautiful story of triumph over the evil forces of this world! "This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." You brought up your children the right way, so that the enemy of their souls would not have his way with them.

I have made the following suggestions for grammatical revisions:

Thanks for sharing this great story of love, faith, victory and solid Biblical teaching that made the difference when it really counted for your daughter.

You're very welcome, Kit. It's an incredible story that really deserves a wider audience. Maybe, when you publish an anthology of memoirs containing stories from your personal life, this can become a part of it. It would be very helpful, instructive and encouraging to parents at various stages of raising minor children, who are still impressionable. Even grandparents could benefit from your story! I wish my parents would have read this story, when I was a child. They were good parents, and they loved me, but they didn't realize the temptations I would be facing, or how strongly they would pull me away from following the right path, at that age. I am grateful that I was loved by them anyway, and that I was always loved by Jesus, who threw me a lifeline that saved my soul! May God bless you and your beautiful family. - Mary Kay

This story is well-paced. The flow is good. The narrative is clear and simple. The dialogue is believable. The feeling contained is one of warmth and love. The story stays on point and progresses to a final point.

Thank you for a good read.

What a beautiful story and you have told it well. Proof that if we teach our children the Word of God, and respect for it, when they face times of temptation they will remember what they have learned and stand firm in their beliefs. God promised to not allow us to be tempted above what we are able but would always provide a way of escape.
