Really loved those first few paragraphs that made me absorbed into the moment with the descriptive setting. Then the you are one of the best with how you handle dialogue in a way that moves the plot and deepens the characters. As I once said, I'm not a fan of this genre, but I am a fan of your writing!

I think you meant to write (chess moves) instead of (chest moves) A very small error and easily fixable. This is certainly an interesting story and the dialogue is absolutely terrific. I was surprised to see another chapter, Amahra. I'd thought story had ended when they safely reached Bethica. Now Gangus has a new challenge. Well written. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you, Jay. Yes, it is rendezvous; spellcheck was silent on that one. Hm...the Iliad? My professor's required reading was the Odessey, Homer, and the Aeneid, by Virgil. I never read the Iliad. I think I will, though.

Well, both the Iliad and the Odessey were by Homer. I didn't read the Aeneid, so I should put that on my bucket list.

The Timbaknis, Engamars, Aenwyns, and Qu'Venars, to name a few." oooh! This reminds me strongly of Lord of the Rings and the second part where the army is raised from a scant few and are triumphant! This is such exciting, well written, brilliant writing. I loved every minute of it that is some talent you have there I will look for more of your work. I have been off the site for a while. I love the squabbling of the gods, I found the Greek manifestation of their gods were more human than humans, in fact I thought they were worse than humans, we tend to make gods in our image rather than the other way around. Gangus has been summoned by Raziel, he is given an instruction to destroy the Nordixc who are considered evil because they are using demonic beings. Beautifully written my friend, another good series, well done Amahra, blessings Roy
