There is no helping some people unfortunately friend. Family to some just means an easy mark, someone to abuse and or take advantage of. Thing is, sooner or later their ways catch up with them and they like your brother find themselves living in denial and very much AlONE

I'm sure you realized that your brother is suffering from mental illness. I cannot imagine the pain your family is feeling. You did all you could for him and you should not feel guilty for his behavior. He needs professional help but as you said he thinks nothing is wrong. I have a sister I haven't seen or talked to in 19 years. We had a normal sibling relationship and she was a great aunt to my children when they were little. Then one day she met a man who was not good but he changed her. I mourned for the girl I once knew and accepted that she did not want to be in our family anymore. I'm so sorry for your pain. God's blessings to you.
