Reading this was enjoyable because the characters are engaging, and the dialogue moves the story along as it serves to strengthen characterization. Description is good and pace is appropriate. When I read your writing it's easy to feel as if I'm in the midst of the scene.

I probably missed some posts here, I haven't been able to review much because I'm spending three days a week looking after my dad, who had a stroke. But the dialogue here is as realistic as ever, and we get this low level tension between Gabe and Katherine as this stranger injects some jealousy into their relationship to test it. As happens with all couples. It is good realism and it will be interesting to see how Gabe and Kath navigate this in the future chapters. estory

Unclear: I don't want to do that either-- perhaps she means: I don't want to do either
A typo: Melton or Milton?

I hope the new guy in town (Milton Ivory) wasn't being tricky and trying to gain information for the in-laws. I could see some sneaky guy doing just that. Gabriel couldn't conceal his jealousy very well and I think Katherine enjoyed it just a little.
