I am sorry, I don't take Gypsy Blue Rose's class. I learned my haiku from someone, that is long on this site. None the less, I appreciate all your kind and encouraging words.

I like your haiku about pumpkins. I like everything about pumpkins, in fact. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cake--even roasted pumpkin seeds. The picture goes quite well with the poem. Good luck in the contest.

As I am reading this, my wife is in the backyard on the bbq table ripping into a pumpkin for the seeds, while my 9 year old Tornado (granddaughter) waits to carve the face into the pumpkin. Cool poem. :)
