This is a good piece that clearly defines the failings of our less than illustrious president. Finding a solution to the problem will be more difficult, but I think some people are waking up I picked up a couple of writing issues as noted below.

Many of those polled wonder how much those numbers will rise with Biden attempting to pour trillions into the economy? -- this is a statement, not a question
Bureau of Labor Statistics a pultry 235,000 ==> paltry
suspected, that is Biden is not capable of -- I think "is" is extraneous
Perhaps that became the reason Biden holed up at Camp David so long after the Afghanistan withdrawal concluded? -- statement, not question

This is great and says it like it is. Biden is undoubtedly a weak leader and should never have been allowed to run in the first place, but the Democrats couldn't find any one else. They propped him up to continue the Obama legacy but unfortunately for them, the shadow cabinet is getting more discouraged by the day I think. They are cringing and scrambling for damage control, it's so obvious.
21% is pretty bad but hopefully we can retake congress in the mid terms.
Your reporting is crucial to stay focused and calling Biden out for his feckless leadership.

I am not saying we should have remained in Afghanistan, but I will say we should have never of left
Bagram air base . It is strategically placed so we can quickly respond to anything in that part of the world. But that being said, we should've got the Americans and the Afghan helpers out first and from Bagram, give the Afghans Kabul. It serves of nothing. Then to leave all of our military grade equipment. Only an idiot would do that. Our military should never have left first.
Many people feel Biden is not doing an adequate job handling the pandemic. (Not when he has the southern border wide open and COVID positive aliens are coming into the US and placed all over the US. What does he expect? You can also add all the Afghan aliens that flew over in place of Americans.)
Out of hand major crimes in America's largest cities (here again the southern border comes into play plus the 63,000 felons from California alone.)
Sorry, I have strong opinions on the subject.

Biden's approval rating has fell to 42%, far higher than it should or will be in the next poll. But personally, as bad as it's been, I wish him nothing but good will. He is the President, and we are stuck with this guy for a long time and, there are still major blunders he can make that will affect us all. So, we don't need to worsen the blows or kick his legs out from under him until it's closer to election time. We still have to live in this country. Thanks for sharing.

I hope he is President for the next 3 years, ONLY so a worser choice will not take his place, namely Harris. At that time maybe American voters will get the next in line correct.

I believe, like you seem to. Biden's better than the alternative, but not by much. The sadder part is: we never get quality candidates, because the only ones who can raise the billion dollars it takes to run are scam artists and connected politicians. LOL. I hope our country makes it through these next three years, but then what?

The Washington Post was mostly reporting news, not slanting it, on the border, so I suspect your ABC citation is also a name-dropping attempt to show moderate and left-leaning media as turning against Biden.
