Yarmouth, Maine. My husband was USCG recruiter in Portland...Maine. We were also stationed in Portland, Oregon.

I worked in the commercial fishing industry in Rockland, Maine. Our plant and office was right beside the Coast Guard base. They are good people. They helped us out on more than one occasion.

That's a coincidence. The company I worked for has an office in Seattle. We have five factory trawlers that fish out of Alaska.

Yours was CLEARLY the best. Hands down. I placed my vote and was confident I'd see your entry in the top spot. Ugh. When I saw the numbers I wanted to SCREAM. There are just so many times I do not agree with (or understand) the voters!
So I had to come back and just let you know I thought this was cute and well done and so funny. It was tongue-in-cheek humor - not over-blown, which is so nice to find here. I didn't leave a comment at first because I was going through all of the entries and trying to catch up on contests - sorry!
