This was a nice poem. It could use an edit. Gramps's I would change to Gramps' because "is" was not a connector. And punctuation in line two because of the quote.
Congratualtions on the new baby. God bless :)

Nad,
I can only imagine what THAT felt like. To be a fly on the wall THAT day would have been fun, I bet. Happy smiles and tears all 'round. Wow. You should see MY face. hahahaha Those smiles are contagious, I guess. Very cool!

Thanks, Robyn, for reading and reviewing. We don't know if we are expecting a boy or girl, but the Doc says St. Patrick's day is the target date. We are thrilled for our daughter and her husband.

I was married and after six years my wife did not conceive. We tried all ways and means to get her to conceive. God had his own plan. Through a miracle, which I plan to write one day, she was conceived. We have now three grown-up children, two girls, and one boy. With God anything is possible. Thanks for sharing, Kit.

Kit, I was gone for a day to my daughter's and she is progressing perfectly. I am so happy about your family story, like ours. Thank You so much for the marvelous review and the 6 Exceptional Stars.

Certainly God has the ultimate say on birth and life in general. It reminds me of Sarah, Rebekah, and Hannah in the Bible. Good message in your three line poem. Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing my poem, ?Guess What??
Our Baby is having a Baby!

Last line says all that needs to be said about who the final authority is, Really enjoyed this poem. Though something may not seem possible, mere humans sometimes do not get the biggest picture. They do not alwsys make the decisions. Much could be learned from that last line.

This touched my heart deeply. I know what it feels like to have the doctors tell you there is no way and can easily imagine the joy of knowing a baby was due. I am delighted for your daughter. Your poem spells it out clearly and concisely. Best of luck in this contest.

I am so happy for you and your family, and that the doctor was wrong in this case.
I hope being retired as you get to be part of your granddaughters life is a wonderful experience for your entire family.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my poem "Guess What?" We do feel truly blessed as a family, knowing that the Dr. was wrong in God was right. Prayers are not always answered in our time or in our way but God is good all the time. And this time, we're thrilled with both.

You have made excellent use of your nineteen syllables in this lovely, uplifting, joyous piece. Doctors aren't always right--and then, of course, there are miracles! :-)
