I hope Jordan is alright! These football games are causing a lot of health problems. I don't recall the Stroll, but then I don't think I was old enough, this video was back in 1956, I was ten years old. But it looks a fun dance that could come back.
Now we wait to see what happened to Jordan. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Chapter 25 part one is naturally well written, in structure and form. This is good building of your world. This part, until the end where it seems Jordan is injured feels like a step away from the core plot or troubles Katherine is facing. Now she has a new problem hitting her through no fault of her own.

Jordan being injured will help build Gabriel and her relationship and will also bring out some issues Katherine has with football. Thank you for the kind review.

I sure like your rock and roll music, the stroll. It was a favorite. Still like to listen and dance. Now they have line dancing but cannot compete with the stroll!

The son got hurt in the story playing the first play of the game. This is always a worry when it comes to football. Many receive concussions and later have problems.

Hi Barbara, I'm sorry to be late reviewing. I'm fully vaccinated and I take so much care but I'm not well. I'm waiting for the results. I suspect the Delta has caught up with me. I just don't know how.
I'm so sorry learning what is happening to Jordan. that's a mother's nightmare. Ulla:)))

Wow, that is every parent's nightmare--something happening to your child. This was a really good chapter, Barbara. I hope Jorden makes a full recovery. I watched the video. Ha! Where is John Travolta when you need him?

Alright, you really left us hanging this time. And this time, we'll have to be worried about how bad the injury is for a whole week. But, thank goodness, it's only fiction. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

So true. As a mom who's all four boys played football and had their share of injuries, that time feels like a week before you figure out how bad the injury was. Also there' the unwritten rule, Moms aren't allowed on the field. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I had four boys who also played all sports. And believe me us dads are just as panicked when one is lying on the field or court, we just hide it well. I was just lucky enough to be on the floor or field. LOL.

All four played football and baseball. Three played basketball, and one wrestled.

Once again you have a great sense of the visuals and the dialogue, everything is very realistic, I love how Gabe orchestrates the line dance, and it could have been a tv episode the way you handle the scene setting. Nice job with the little details like the touching of the hand, the eyes meeting up as he looks over to her in the stands during the game. We can feel the emotions smoulder... I think this is coming along nicely. estory

This is another well-written and action-filled chapter. I really enjoyed reading it, and can't wait to see if Jordan is okay. You did an excellent joy in capturing the different emotions. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Oh-oh, Jordan was injured. What a way to end the chapter, Barbara. I trust he will not be badly hurt. When I was in high school one of my friends on the football team was hit from behind and it cracked his spine. He went into a coma and ended up dying. So... I'm a little concerned about Jordan.

The Stroll ... now that brought back some memories!

I didn't see that ending coming! This will create a lot of difficulties for Katherine, and I hope there will be no permanent damage. It's a rough game. Looking forward to the continuation.
