Hi Brett,

You are spot on here. Biden has to take credit for the Afghanistan debacle.
Watching it unfold is so awkward. What a dumpster fire!

I almost feel sorry for the old man, Biden, but don't. He is not functioning on a all cylinders and it's been obvious for years. But the people behind him ought to be drawn and quartered for propping up Biden in the first place. It's criminal. He's a stuffed shirt, a puppet of the Left who losing his cognitive functions.

I could go on and on but will stop there.

Great stuff here, Brett. Thanks for posting.

Have a good weekend :))

There's not anyone who can dispute what a heartless, uncaring, and idiotic stunt Biden has pulled with this foolish move that, will soon come back to haunt us in many ways. Thanks for sharing.

This tragedy has impacted me terribly as I see the long-term toll taken on our nation and those who trusted us. I can't even write about it.

Notes:

For his part, in a more than feeble attempt to reflect the blame -- deflect?

accurately access the implications -- assess? (Additional places.)

Thank you for sharing. Biden is supposedly the popular president ever, according to the election. Of course, that was rigged. I hear in the upcoming California election is going to allow people to print ballots from home. LOL We are absolutely in a horrible mess.

I have a brother-in-law who is completely clueless. I don't understand it with so much evidence. MY husband says, 'he's brainwashed'. I guess so.

This is a very interesting article and you have accurately placed the blame for what you call Saigon Kabul where it belongs. If you want to make it more publishable, you need to make your sentences somewhat less complex. Your sentence beginning with "Do not know . . . " is confusing as it seems to be answering a question not asked in the previous paragraph.

I can only say that this opinion of the evacuation of Afghanistan is totally absent of any other problems that just pretending to make a difference in Afghanistan has created. Between the Afghan army running away at the first opportunity, the Afghan government officials running away at the first opportunity, and the total breakdown of intelligence, I don't think even you could have pulled this off, Brett.

Would not have wanted to. However, any of four Presidents could have done a much better job than what transpired. Believe everyone agrees with that statement. Appreciate the review.

As Bob Dylan wrote in his protest songs, that we will all believe that war is justified, if it's in the name of "freedom" but it never is, countries will have their "civil wars" as America did, with huge deathly consequences. If other countries had taken sides in that, America would cry "foul" It's not one person's fault, it's the rounds of the "blame game". And even Adam blamed God, it's been the same since then. No war is justified, unless genuinely defending one's shores. We are all to blame, blessings Brett, blessings Roy

Fantastic, dear Brett. Thank you for the wonderful post and background fill. I just posted one as well: Sundown on Kabul. Interestingly, it was the British who initiated helping remove American service personnel stranded in Kabul and safe houses throughout the country. France has joined in the door to door search, as well. Hopefully, they'll get everyone out despite the fallenness of our President. My concern is that the caliphate is already in place. Iran, China and Russia stand poised to make alliances with the Taliban. The final end of days is at the door in my biblical perspective.

Sending you my best today as always,
Sal :))
