I wish I knew the answers, that no one has seemed to figure out with any effective alternative. I don't know how we can maintain a border when thousands are allowed to cross the border every day for work. We can't have it both ways. This might sound mean or cold hearted, but I think it's time to lock the border down period until we can get the situation in hand. As for Afghanistan, it's hard to keep fighting for a country who won't stand up and fight for themselves, but how can we just walk away and leave women and children defenseless. The twenty years and all the American lives lost to assist the fight against the Taliban has been fruitless. We've spent over a Trillion dollars to train and arm the Afghan army to fight for themselves, but rather than fight, their government has taken the money and fled to safety. I hate what is happening, but we can't support them forever if they aren't willing to use all of our hi-tech weapons and do their own fighting. They have either ran off or laid down. It's a terrible situation. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your opinion, as well as some very interesting information! I'm usually not a huge fan of non-fiction, but this read smoothly enough that I was able to finish the entire piece. There is one sentence that reads "Although three other Presidents, two Republicans and one a Democrat, who must shoulder their fair share of the blame" where you might want to either take out the word "who" or add "there are" before the word three... Other than that, I don't have any constructive criticism. Thanks again for sharing!

Bravo, Brett! I have been following this situation along with the Afghanistan catastrophies this week. However, as you said, Kamala Harris would be far worse in any given situation besides redecorating her office. It's my thinking she won't be far behind as president, given his age and constant missteps. A frightening contemplation....

This is a first class analysis of the situation and I am sure it is accurate, because it is easy to check the allegations against fact.
The tragedy for the US is that it demonstrates the problems inherent in its version of democracy. Twice over the last two presidential elections the country has managed to elect two appallingly inept candidates to the highest office in the land, And don't believe that either of those elections was substantially affected by fraud of any type.
I have said recently here on FanStory that it seems that the worst thing Trump did was to be so bad that the country elected Biden.
This points to the conclusion that if two such inept candidates from opposing political philosophies can win these elections then there just might be something wrong with the system.
And we in the UK are almost as bad having elected a bumbling upper class oaf who can't even manage to find his hairbrush in the morning.
No, I don't want to go and live in Putin's Russia either. Surely somewhere out there lie solutions for both our countries.

Appreciate your thoughts. The main problem is no well qualified candidate appears to be out there. So, suppose for the next 3 and 1/2 years we are stuck to Mr. ineptness Personified.

District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, of the Northern District of Texas, ordered the Remain In Mexico policy be permanently reinstated. (YEA!!!!!! FINALLY SOMEBODY WITH COMMON SENSE!!!!!!)
The chances of Biden being impeached for another law violation (there have been several others) are slim to none...unfortunately. ( I want him impeached, but then we'll get Harris and she'd worse. We'd have to impeach her too! sorry I wrote this before I read your next sentence. LOL)
