Hi Roy, this is a fine tribute you have paid to Bob's memory. I do remember 'falling up the stairs'. At times it had me in tears. But he survived it all and became a fine writer, as it were. We have lost a some fine writers during the past few years. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tribute with us. Ulla:)))

I am sorry that I did not get to see and read Bob's work. Your tribute to him is both heartfelt and beautifully written. Also, your notes gave me an understanding of the depth of the man, and the brilliance of his pen.

A great tribute to Mastery. My favorite too is the autobiographic novel,"Falling Up the Stairs'. He has written it with great sensitivity. I hope he is now free of all pain ..

What an outstanding tribute to Mastery.... But then I would expect no less from you. (A great friend and supporter of so many on this site). He will be remembered by others as well and definitely missed. My heart goes out to his wife, family and friends....I know he was loved dearly. The "writing" angels have gained an excellent newbie in Heaven. May his light shine down on us forever.

That is a lovely tribute to Bob, Roy. I loved his book, 'Falling up the Stairs' it was the first book I read of his, and it had me in tears. He came a long way, didn't he? After such a heart-breaking childhood, to a first-class novelist. Fanstory will miss him. Well done, my friend. :) Sandra xxx
