OMG! I can't believe that Bob is no more. I was under the impression he was recovering in the hospital. I am shocked beyond words to learn he has passed away. He was always so kind and had encouraging words for me. I will miss him dearly. This is a fine tribute to Bob. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for writing this excellent nod to Mastery as we have called him for decades on this site. Bob was a truly gifted writer that had novel after novel published.
I am shocked to hear he has passed away this July. We will miss him, he was a good soul who always has a kind word. A Marine, as you too are a Marine, Bill, and we thank you and all the men and woman that serve !
Mastery will be missed. Your tribute here in this closing chapter is such a kind and honorable thing to do. Thank you.
His books will live on for us to read, which is the gift he left for us.

Bill, anything that is a tribute to Bob deserves six stars. When I first started publishing my writing here, he was very helpful and his advice was accepted gladly. I'm saddened that we are never going to enjoy his encouragement and his writing again. Rest in peace, Bob.

This is so sad. I wasn't aware until I read this. He befriended me not all that long ago and became one of my fans. We had a common bond through our sons and for our love of writing. He sort of mentored me and I treasure all of his words. What a master -y of a writer -

Oh, what a terrible loss. I just can't imagine this site without the company of his great and gracious characters. He was a master in reading the human soul, and writing characters who lived in between those lines. He helped me, he said I had talent...May God bless him.
