I always fascinate to read about Adam and Eve. I am not Christian but their stories are interesting. This poem create a great motivation to life. Nice words, rhymes and I like the picture shared with this poem, it definitely want readers to read it.

I like this re-telling of the story. I wrote several versions myself, but from the snake's point of view. While I am not a Christian, I can appreciate the underlying message here. well done my friend.

Thank you so much, It is encouraging to know that even though you are not a Christian, you can recognize the failure of Adam to be the man he should have been.

Hello NOMI338: I thank you for sharing this posting, in that I agree with you here, 100%. I have always said to myself: "I'm going to be 100% honestly transparent concerning the matter. I would have done the same thing that Adam did." Why? Because after Eve ate of the forbidden fruit she was doomed to die. God had already said that it was not good for me to be without her...and I agree with our God. So...if she had to die...I might as well die with her. And plus, I love her just that much. Again I thank you, my friend. God bless you. cordially: rhonnie69.

Ah Ronnie. If Adam truly loved Eve, he should not have joined in her rebellion, but instead as an unblemished soul, he could have and should have petitioned God for her forgiveness and her redemption. Thank you for your review comments.

I love your poem. You rhymed it great. It has excellent rhythn with the ABAC etc and seven syllables per line. You are right this story deserves to be told over and over. The win was only temporary, thanks to a God who loves his children enough to provide a way of escape. I'm sure he will go down fighting.

Thank you Beth. When Satan chose to rebel, he had already lost.

So grateful God had a plan to save mankind and didn't leave us to wallow in our sin. Money, governments, nor ourselves will save us from Satan's power, which is nothing compared to God's, only Jesus can do it. Well said.

God will never be less than one of his creations. Satan was not acting wisely when he chose to oppose his creator. Thank you Roxanna, your comments are appreciated.

This story cannot be told too many times, and you creatively told it through poetry. God graciously give us choices. We can believe, and reap the rewards, or not believe and reap those rewards. Adam and Eve made a choice and we have a choice. Thank you for putting the story in rhyme and including a note that the Bible was written that we may benefit.

Thank you for a kind and supportive review. It is sad that there are some among us who do not believe in God, that is their choice, but in the end I do not want to hear their asking for another chance.

A beautiful retelling! Evil comes in so many forms and types - we must be ever mindful lest it sneak in through art or music or someone we think we may love. Very fine work.

I like the way you have emphasised the strength of the word of God both in your poem and in your author note. The underlying message is a positive one.
