Comfort Zone

It feels as if this is about the lockdowns and the isolation, the feelings that come up of being separated from other people. Yet it seems to go a little further than that, almost as though the pandemic has put us into a kind of Twilight Zone! I know it's easing up, but the feeling of it isn't completely gone in some places, or for some people.

I know some people for whom the loneliness of isolation becomes very magnified and is extremely problematic. It's so unnatural. I know that we want to keep the virus from spreading, but I sometimes long for the days before we had to think about it, when we could come and go without a care. I don't know if we will ever feel that way again. Only time will tell. May God bless you, and keep you safe. - Mary Kay

You have captured the darker mood of our changing society, at the present at least, with this short Trinet. It is very different, and you have caught the sense of alone-ness and loneliness. Best wishes for your entry.

Ah, this is very good, and given all that the world has been through over the past year and a half it is very relatable to a large readership. The form looks good to me and your theme flows perfectly throughout.
Good idea and good execution.

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-You following the directions for the form.
-A good topic, imagery, and rhyme.
-The opening line is appropriate
for the time we are living in.
-The mood reflects a sense
of loneliness, but it has
become a "comfort zone."
-A good entry; good luck.

I love this, it speaks to me. I have barely left the house but to walk the dog for a year and a half. Mt anxiety disorder has just gotten worse and worse. One day, they will tell us to go, we are released, I am conditioned now, and don't want to go. Comfort is my bedroom, where I am safe and cocooned. But life should not be like this. This is not living. I am certain of it and in this poem you aptly explain the human condition we have been left in by the terror of the pandemic/ Wonderful work kindest regards Meia xx
