Ciao poet.. I read this poem early , when it was listed under the contest page and knew I would give it my vote then.....you have two now!

Its theme mirrors mine.. I think animals are even more intriguing to observe their complex mating rituals and beautiful romance moves.

Your bird of paradise , its winds look like soft petals of a flower ... hard to resist so much charm.

    Thanks for your vote. Truthfully, the photo of the bird is the best part of my presentation. At minimum, that will draw attention to my poem. We will wait to see if others agree with your kind assessment.

Beautiful photo and imagery of what you are expressing in your poem. It's amazing the personalities that birds have to attract their mates. If I were a bird, I just might answer his call.

    Thanks for your review. My poetry style is the short poem, especially 5-7-5 syllable lines. Longer poems are not within my writing ability. Normally I use FanArt works to accompany my posts, but this bird was not found, so I searched the internet for that beautiful b-o-p photo.

Great choice for this 5-7-5 Romance poem.

The piece is presented effectively with the red backdrop and beautiful image that accompanies the piece. The title is well suited to advancing the poem's theme.
