I like how you continued the 'c' rhyme in the bridge line. That moved us more easily between the stanzas. The two different types of stanzas also work so well with the first wondering about wishes and the last a happy conviction that wishes come true in answered prayers.

You have mentioned two types of poetry I am unfamiliar with. I commend you for your ability to utilize both. I will just keep using My hillbilly methods and styles to deliver my messages. This is nicely written in accordance with the style standard.

I love the imagery this evokes and the merry meter of this poem. Too, the promising closing offers such hope -- we ALL must "keep believing"!
Yet again you dazzle me with a format with which I am not familiar. I must give it a try sometime! (I'll bookcase yours to use as an example.) Thank you!

This puente, Wishing, uses the proper formatting and delivers the two aspects of wishing. One is that we may as well wish for a third leg for all the good wishing does. The better half acknowledges that wishes appear granted when they are desperately needed.

Great imagery and visuals, thymes and meter smooth as silk and stunning imagery make this an outstanding piece of reading.

The author's words are comforting, clear and creative. I pondered on the
2nd stanza. When we haven given up hope God come through. Thanks for the reminder. I liked the flow of these words. The artwork is lovely and compliments these words.

Aww, Damommy, this is such a lilting poem honoring faith. Love it all but particularly the little uplifting twist at the end!
Nicely done. It IS so serendipitous to have the surprise of a wish come true. Makes us feel like the children we really are.

It can be very surprising when
you get even more than you wished for.
I saw a beautiful Blue Jay yesterday,
sitting on a fence, across the yard.
I thought, 'oh, I wish he'd come sit here
on the steps with me.'
Today, he did. Three steps down, and he
turned and looked at me as if to say...'Happy?'
I was so tickled.
