I like the mix of philosophy and sarcasm here. Amazing vision and description of what's happening. These stood out:
Rich get richer, the others poor,

Congress is broke, won't do its job,

Yes, out country does face "desperate situations", especially what we went through with Covid. It should get batter with vaccinations and after we get rid of this horrible illness - but we have a long way to go!

The first two stanzas were the soul of this poem for me. Loved reading them over and over before writing this review. Well, all I can say is that, tough times are supposed to make tougher people. Its a cliche but some cliche carry their weight as well!

I really like your poem. I think that your first line is a powerful way to start your poem. You are unambiguous that Black Lives Matter, but demonstrate that doesn't demean that other lives matter, too. I think everyone can read your poem and relate. I think whenever I see a political poem, my first inclination is to read it quickly and see if I agree with their position or not. Your poem was motivation to take a step back and actually look at the meaning of the poem: our country is facing many issues. To continue to care about partisan issues is to divert from the fact that we need to reform to actually make a change and look forward. Motivational, great poem!

The remarkable thing about your amazing poem is that it carries a message for the world. BLM, climate change, American borders, the economy, schools and churches are all topics of grave concern that need attention. You are the talented poet who expressed it all in rhyme. Well done.
