I think you accomplished what you wanted to accomplish in this poem. The poem is dark and heavy. My exact words after reading this poem was "ooh". Great poem for bringing out a wow moment. I do think that orange letters with black background will portray more of a dark feeling. Nonetheless great work.

Poor fellow is blind with a sad outlook on life because of it. Believes he already in hell and maybe he is...but maybe not. A good play on the theme darkness though. smiles, Carol
