Brilliant!
It absolutely seems like certain scenes we come upon are conjured by the muse to make us take up our quill and capture it in words!
Wow.
I'm learning more than ever was a master of poetry you are!

Hello Gypsy Blue Rose: I thank you for sharing your witty ditty here. You told a complete long story here with only three lines and fifteen words. This is clever. God bless you, my friend. cordially: rhonnie69.

day deepens into dusk
as crows feathers shine with last light --
waiting for haiku poet
The haiku poet needs to find the right moment, exactly the time when the light seen leads to words imagined but not yet expressed.

The visuals seem to heighten the impact of the words. It is good to know that inspiration can be drawn from the much-malighned crows too! A very well written short poem indeed. Thanks for sharing!

A beautiful poem and stunning artwork to go with it! I also love the presentation with the poem in the middle of the art. Sounds like the crows are waiting for you! :) Thanks so much for sharing.

The visuals that accompany this poem are quite something. They are both spooky and convoluted. This matches the mood of the actual poem. I particularly liked the line:
feathers shine with last light
this can't be seen so it is asking for the comprehension and belief of the 'blind' reader.

Love the artwork!! It is so perfect for your poem. And your poem reminds me of our neighborhood crows who love to have parties in our pecan trees and invite ALL of their friends until the noise is, well, very noisy! I especially love you second line about the crow's feathers shining with the last light - very poetic imagery.
Thank you for sharing@

This is terrific. It sets a scene and puts you there at the end of day. I can see it in my minds eye, especially the crow, which lends a slightly ominous tone to the write. Thank you for sharing. :)
