Hello Jaybird,

This is a warm poem about being kind. I love kindness, which our Father i Heaven shows us every day. You really can't go wrong being kind to others. Your poem is very touching and loving. I have always enjoyed the loving words in your poem. You are truly gifted with the words in your poem which touches so many. Your rhyming in your poem are always good. This is a great line, "let kindness show you love the human race." I always look forward to reading your heartfelt poems. Well done.

Hey friend, Jay. What a most helpful thought you have shared with us today. Sometimes it is very difficult to keep those kindness flags flying, but there is nothing else that can be done.

Because as you so aptly state, love, trust and care are the proper way to travel through life.

Thank you so much always for sharing from you heart. :)

Gloria

I read this and think how I want to live my life these days, if not for myself but to show my child how others should be treated.
This is a wonderful mantra to love by. Thank you.

I'm sure that this sonnet makes God smile, I especially enjoyed the the last stanza:
"Living life this way means you surely can-
Stay well within the brotherhood of man."

These are very wise works you have expressed in the poem and I'll bet you are the kind of person who lives by those words. It would be a better world if we all did. I really enjoyed reading his poem. A person who lives like this is bound to make a lot of life long friends along the way.

Your poem really made me smile by showing the kindness that humans are capable of should they just decide to show it. Your rhymes are perfectly chosen and, while there are a couple of places where the rhythm is slightly off due to where the stress falls naturally, the message is so enjoyable that it far supercedes any other minor issues.

This piece speaks out to the reader. It encourages them to be kind to one another. It tells of a better way then anger and violence. I again love the beat it is set to.

Sounds like you have written "the golden rule" of how to treat others.
Excellent examples of how we should live our lives.

Very nicely done Jaybird.

A beautiful poem encouraging us to be kind and thoughtful to others. Great rhyming and a pleasure to read. No better way to live than to care for those around us, and in turn we receive kindness from them.

Well, Jay, Amen to that. All I can say is that I try my best going down that route. During my lifetime, I've probably failed, at times, as I thing most if not all of us have. But it is a good guideline to live by. Ulla:)))
