I shall show your wonderful review to my wife, an art major, and exclaim that I appear to have some talents as an art critic. I will, no doubt, get the same reaction I have received to my other exclamations over the last 4 decades+. Thank you! I should have married you.

Your tribute to Dali is well expressed and offers an interesting perspective in the way his Art is and can be interpreted and/or appreciated. Well presented. Enjoyable read.

Thank you Ms. Davis. I have always been a big fan of his, but, true confession, I'm the type of art critic who believes that the "impressionists simply needed glasses. Tell me, what would you have written had I entitled my poem, " Hello, Dali, Well Hello, Dali". Me thinks too cute by half. What thinketh you?

Thank you for sharing this poem. I enjoy artwork by Salvador Dali, so you topic choice was appealing from the start. I like how it is a combined poem, praise, and interpretation all in one. Good luck with your contest entry!

Great to know you enjoyed my offering from 3 angles. I liked Dali from the first time I saw his stuff. My wife, an art grad, not so much! Business used to take me to Tampa twice a year and Dali gallery was just across in St Pete. Great place to visit if you have not. I wore Dali neckties, had Dali calendars, tee shirts. Even have a Dali clock in our RV now. Thanks for stopping by!

You did an excellent job for this contest, explaining what your favorite piece of art means to you, while paying tribute to the artist and expressing a philosophy of life. This should do well in the contest. Clever title.

I appreciated Dali's art the first time I saw it. I related to it. I was never a fan of coloring or even living inside the lines. I have several neck ties with his works. I have not worn them in years. Retired men do not wear ties. But, can still celebrate weird. Thanks for reading and liking my ode to Dali.

You could always wear the tie loosely as a fashion statement.

Not in THIS state. I'd get beat up!

Well, we couldn't have that. Perhaps you should move. :-)
