You are correct in saying that most of the Americans will be vaccinated by the end of May, June perhaps. We have been fortunate in getting the vaccine. I thank God it has calmed down some of the spread.

There's so much misinformation floating around about the virus that no one knows what to believe. You did a good job, Iza, with this chapter. I like that you addressed it to the Prime Minister. You give readers good examples of what isn't working. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

I understand the frustration. Here in the States, everyone is trying to get ahead of the line. Each state has set its own rules. We started off with first responders and over 75. Then now it is 65 and over. I have had my first shot already. Teachers are now eligible but want preference, The governor does not want to take from one group to give to another. Now since the teachers are now eligible, the grocery clears now want preference.
It is a mess where supply does not meet demand.

Don't lose hope, Iza. Vaccinations of the general population have begun in Canada! Today the registrations for appointments began for anyone born 1941 or before. It took most of the day because of computer glitches, but my husband now has appointments for both shots. The holdup for Canada was the non-delivery of the promised vaccines.

So many countries have different ideas about the vaccine. They are quickly vaccinating the whole population in Britain, yet here in Spain, particularly the Canaries, only 4 per cent of the population have been vaccinated and there are no supplies of the vaccine. Some countries require you to be vaccinated before travel and if they make this a requirement then it will be years before I see my family again! I despair of all this codswallop Iza, a fine write here, love Dolly x

I feel you, I am in the same boat. I need to see my mom, and if I can get the vaccine i am not able to travel. I am scared of the vaccine so this is real dilemma.

passports are needed if you are traveling out of the country
Iza Deleanu you chapter in your book The Corona saga . About when you are going to get your vaccination.
I can see why the people in (Canada) need to wait maybe at the end of June, they will receive the first dose and the second one, maybe next... year? Well here in Vermont all the people 75 and over got their second vaccination .

I am in a conflicting situation: I am scared of the vaccine, but if I want to see my mom and travel to Romania I must do it.

Another great post that speaks of the frustrations we feel at being helpless to the laws and advisories of governments, and the feeling that we are being controlled with the epidemic as an excuse. I think you have great personality in the writing and I love the characterizations of Trudeau as the copycat and Biden as the Mummy. I loved that last one. estory

Sorry, it takes so long there. We haven't even scheduled our vaccinations. We need to be over 65 here. I don't think our country would have everyone vaccinated until summer, maybe not until the end of the year. Besides, we have some anti-vaxers and they won't be vaccinated. Hopefully, the "herd immunity" would protect the majority from them. Thanks for sharing!

Spot-on, snide and snappy!

Quite a delay compared to US--but who knows--the president says we'll be done by May 1st--doubtful. I'm waiting for J&J--one and done!

Our Prime MINISTER IS a wonderful imitator.
