I like the garden images e.g "Sowing seeds of hope". Because if children have hope they have all they need to work towards a successful outcome in life, and they have self-belief. Well constructed poem. Good wishes for the Tanka contest.

Great entry for the Tanka Poetry Contest.
Good syllables count and connection between lines. Nice pivot in the third Line. I don't like the picture, I think pictures with words distracts away from poem.
