I sincerely hope that this wasn't a true tale. From the moment you began I was transfixed and at the end a single tear fell down my cheek. Beautifully written from the heart.

    Thank you, I appreciate the emotion. Dreams are the gateway to search deeply into the meaning of night messengers. My sibling?s and I were away to college when this event took place. I have paid very close attention to my dreams ever since. Thank you for your six-star review.

A very sad poem indeed. A cruel blow by Fate signalling the forthcoming tragedy in a dream. They say life is a painted dream. But it looks like on more occasion than one the colour it uses is black!! I liked the sad poem. Good luck!

What a horrible message! It is of great courage to write this poem and share with us.

The title is well chosen. No one should receive such an unwanted message. You chose a good picture for the unfortunates to rest in peace.

So you had a premonition about the horrible news that you were to soon receive. That's such an awful event and I'm sorry to hear that your life was changed by that accident. Great storytelling in these mono-rhymed stanzas. Best wishes in the contest!

What a touching entry for the 'Live is a Dream' contest. If this is a true story as I assume, my heart goes out to you. Such a tragedy and at the time, as you express, one cannot fathom the ways it will impact their life. Beautifully written.

'When dream's sky turns gray... I see a hearse;...' (I have had many very weird dreams, but NEVER a hearse! Thank goodness!)

A VERY unique take on this quest!!

    Having had the opportunity to attend a eek-long summer conference focused on dream work, I have learned a hearse in a dream and mean many things including Change. Change from anything that comes unexpectedly or unwanted.

I'm not certain if this is fiction or non-fiction, but it is a good entry for the Life is a Dream poetry contest. Funny how things come to us in dreams, it almost seems like more bad news than comes that way. If the story is true, then I'm sorry for your loss. Either way, it's a heartfelt offering.
