Poet, you give us a vivid picture of what a squall would be like on a coastal shore. Your use of ONOMATOPOEIA makes us hear those waves and see those poor boats "crashing docks." Rod

I am amazed at how people are able to manage this form of poetry. This is one of the best I've read. I could see everything happening, particularly the boats first bobbing, then bashing and crashing. Great job.

Well in all honest , I have been disqualified twice in this format ..
I was given the opportunity to edit but I was stressed and just opted out losing my fee ( sigh)
Many formats , I don t even try to tackle .
Thank you for the positive review.
I started writing poems only two years ago so it s been a tour de force to learn the different formats.

I don't intend to spend much time learning all the formats. I write what I write and in way I find some of the formats just too mechanical. The poetry sometimes gets lost in the structure.

I know what you mean .
5-7-5 or less are for me .. I feel challenged
Those formats with the alphabet I avoid because like you mentioned it stunts , slows me down to search for words that not only rhyme but also make sense in the narrative.
Nice chatting with you
Keep safe!
