Artwork and words blend into magic. This reminds me of a little princess I was privileged to give love/care for. It was a spring morning and I took her out in the back yard so mommy could dress for work. I watched from the patio while she glided around giggling with delight. I walked out to see what it could be. Early sunbeams turned dew drops to diamonds. She is older now and prefers "real" ones. Yet that moment left me with memories more precious than diamonds. Best to you with the entry.

Some nice ideas and imagery here. I like that it is a call to action with cautionary elements. I could not quite get into a comfortable rhythm when reading it but that is entirely a matter of choice.

This is beautifully done! I can imagine the excitement on a child's face hearing this poem and getting anxious to go looking for the Fairy in the Grass. The warning for them not to go without an adult, is a clever addition.

Look for Mary! It is a good idea to give a name to Grass Fairy and tell kids to look for Mary. It is very true, she may not be there tomorrow. Look for her now.

I am thinking it is a lot harder to write a fairy tale poem than it would be to write a fairy tale. Having said that, I hope some of your readers will read this to young children because it is delightful. Good luck in the contest. Rdfrdmom2
