Yes, these are the variants that are spreading. We have to be careful in want we touch and also in being with people who are not vaccinated. Again, mask, mask, mask, washhands, wash hands, wash hands, social distance, social distance, social distance!

Amen! I live in Texas and our governor says he refused to lock down Texas again because the cure would be worse than the illness. We are still having school and businesses are still open. Yes, we have COVID, but are dealing with it.

I really appreicate your strong point of view and relentless attack on how deeply you feel. A bold and extremely lively piece that has great movement.

An excellent post dear Iza, you've done a splendid job with this my friend, yes, it's true, the only trouble we get down here is returning expats bringing mutated viral forms here, but we stick them in isolation for 14 days. Well done Iza, great jon, blessings Roy

You're right; thevirus is not the only scary thing in this situation. Every day I go to the store, I see empty shelves. My family cannot afford to store or stockpile food (and I would be morally unlikely to do so, anyway). But it makes me worry about how long we will have groceries or, dare I say it, toilet paper. I'm planting potatoes, cabbage and onions inside in pots. You can regenerate these from their root ends, so no seeds are needed. I sure hope we don't have to eat potatoes, cabbage and onion forever!
And yes, we will eventually all have to face the devil of Coronella. And most of us will live, which I"m not sure will happen if we continue to keep trucks stalled at borders.
No stones here.
Blessings and hugs from your Texas friend,
Deb

Another great rant venting the frustrations with the lockdowns, the fears of disruptions of commerce and travel, individual freedoms. This sense that it is never ending, that there is no way out. Love the personality in it. estory

Will it ever end? What's the vaccination schedule in your country--are you going to get it> After the medical workers, they go by a tiered age system--over 75, over 65, and ... ? Good piece of work!

Short but interesting. I, with my grade school
class mates, were once locked down for our safety. We were not allowed to leave to go home. An excaped prisoner, who was imprisoned for pedophile activity, and was seen
in the neighborhood of our school. After about an hour or two, he was found and returned to prison. My parents and most of all the parents of the kids had driven to school to
pick us up.

Oh, it's crazy, isn't it? And somehow, we still don't understand this beast, Coronella, or her siblings. How is it that one person has no symptoms and spreads the virus, while another one dies? Let's hope the vaccine will work well for everyone!
