Yes Roy, beauty is only skin deep! As we age (and possibly gray out!) and earn wrinkled skin, you can be confident that our soul is still beautiful.

Yes, beauty is only skin deep! As we age (and possibly gray out!) and earn wrinkled skin, you can be confident that our soul is still beautiful.

Those adamant to stop the ageing-process have not learnt that true beauty is much more than youth.
Each stage of life has its downs but also its ups ..and it's the latter aspects we should be going for through life.
Nicole Kidman resembles a twig .. she looks like she will snap if embraced .. her face is the worse .. all stretched yet squinting eyes and those Botox cheeks .. wth
people pay money to look unnatural/fake ... that's nuts.
Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet have chosen to age with grace and their natural ageing process .. their wrinkles.. convey experience and wisdom

people obsessed with facial beauty are empty people according to me, they have their priorities in the wrong place ..

For the men, when there is snow on the roof, there is still heat in the fire pit!
Aside for a few more gray hairs (should I blame my spouse or children for the same? LOL) and few aches, I still have a good perspective on life. Posting on FS keeps me young.

You're right. Birth, life and then death... Is perhaps the grandest mode of recycling that we have. Creatures and plants return to the earth, decompose and then return in a different form. Hope it's that way with people. Good luck in the contest.

This is an admirable expression. It presupposes that beauty is everywhere, which I don't think is quite the case but it's near enough since if we look carefully enough we will be surprised.
