Thanks for sharing this. The prayer is one that I'm sure everyone, in one way or another sends out, as we all desperately want to see the end of the violence, division and pandemics.

What a wonderful letter. It is a plea from a person who is saddened by the state of affairs and turns to God for help. While peace can only come from mankind, one needs to pray to God for peace is for comfort, strength of faith and of course, hope.

A beautiful letter from Walter to God, but if peace is to prevail on earth, then people need to have their hearts changed from a focus on self to a focus on others, serving others with compassion and humility. This alone will bring peace.

Great letter to God. You are indeed a prolific writer. This letter was heartfelt and very in line with God's word. He said to make our requests known to Him. Your request wasn't self-centered at all. Your request was for the whole world. Thank you.
One observation.
In your first line, "Of all the injustices going on in this world.", it is an incomplete sentence. Did you intend for the period after "world" to be a comma? If so, then it would be a complete sentence with the rest of it continued on.
Take a look.

because He gave mankind free choice from the beginning. The

Walt, the Jesus said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
there will never be world wide peace but, believing in Jesus Christ as personal Savior you can have inner peace regardless of what goes around you.

I am awarding this heart felt letter with 5 stars. Not that it is particularly poetic. It does however, reach out and touches my heart. I can certainly relate to the things that Walter feels, hopes and prays for. I myself hope and pray for those very things. I now pray that God will hear and answer Walter's prayer.
