Hi, pome lover. I didn't realize you had written this. Your epitaph is really in line with what's going on, and I'm wondering of free speech will survive. All the canceling seems to be coming from one side. The liberals think they are in the driver's seat and entitled to tell others what to do and punish them if they're on the opposite side. The thought of Biden and crew undoing the good that Trump did makes me sick. I don't think he'll last long and Kamala will deal the final blow. I doubt I could stand watching the news. The main thing is their getting away with rigging the election. That cannot stand. Well, that and thinking they can control what people say and think.

Biden is not doing anything to unify the country, as he proved in his remark that the DC police would have acted more quickly if it had been Black Lives Matter folks attacking the Capitol. He surely can do better than that if he wants to unite the country. judi

This is an awesome poem you've written. I never thought I would ever see our precious United States sink this low. I thought the government was a bit shady before and now I realize that they're dark as the devil! I pray something happens before things go so far that we won't ever get back to some normalcy. Thanks, Patty. I never did, either. The corruptness of the Left is staggering, and I guess the worst thing is, besides ruining our country!! is they don't care for the people, their constituents, and why in the world do they want socialism for America? I think, truly, they are only thinking that they will be immune because they ARE the gov't. I could not believe that Pelosi was voted in again. If anyone is mentally unfit and a danger to this country, it is she. Plus a host of others! I have read that there are things in the works that will come out before the 20th. I guess we have to wait and see.

Pelosi? should be impeached! Biden should be impeached! I don't believe for a minute that Joe Biden won the election fair and square. Maybe someone else could have beat Trump, someone who was upstanding and decent, but Biden didn't lift one finger to campaign. Do they think we are all that stupid that we believe that crap? We've all known that dead people have been voting for decades. I've always thought it was about time that someone take that to task. Oh dear, what a mess it all is. I'm worried about what is going to happen to our decent people and our beautiful country. However, it's going to be an interesting ride!

There is freedom of speech and there is promoting acts of violence. Five people dead and hundreds hurt. As the FBI ongoing investigation gets going more and more discovery of plans to hang vice president pence and Nancy Pelosi. Many rioters will end up in prison. Trump encouraged acts of insurrection and got himself impeached twice...only one in American history. He has divided the country and now he is paying for it. Karma is a bitch.

the whole thing is so sickeningly corrupt it is mind boggling to me that nothing stops them. We seem to have no law in the land. Who do we go to, now for justice?

Yes, I know many Americans, especially some young ones frown upon freedom speech, they have been indoctrinated at an impressionable age. The older ones merely see it as a chance to gain power and silence dissenters. It's the same story, retold every generation. The power hungry use the young and foolish. What happened to Parler isn't a surprise. I saw this coming, so did many others years ago. But, that one, I don't blame on Liberals. Conservatives, had and still do, have a chance to build their own internet infrastructure, but they don't. I don't know why. Perhaps lack of leadership.

well their/our leader was busy doing great things for this country - tirelessly and against all odds. Our conservative technical people could have, you're right, but with the Dems running the govt. and all the people jumping ship, plus the biased judiciary, who do you go to for justice? certainly not our FBI, CIA, DOJ.
You're also correct about our young having been indoctrinated. I was unaware until last year of this great global movement against our country and way of life, and the length of time they've been busy infiltrating our schools, businesses, govt. My hope is that we have good guys who have known about it and have a plan in the works. I have read and heard things, but don't know if they're true.
However, hope springs.

Freedom of speech is one of the cornerstones of democracy and so one would imagine it would be highly valued by the Democrats. Your epitaph makes the point well. My own view is that it's taken a knock but that it's far from being dead.
