The doctors and nurses are very concerned and let us know that the vaccine will help the stop of the virus if we still social distance, wear masks amd wash our hands.

Well said! I agree. This story begins with a harsh line, I love it!

This line needs corrected:For the entire year, we screamed and beg for a vaccine. It should be screamed and begged for....

I read your comments about the vaccine with much interest. I admire your thoughts about us asking God for stuff, and then, changing our mind...for more. Great take in this vaccine for covid.

Yep, all the fear is now directed at the vaccine...

" Well, this is not a flu vaccine, but one specifically designed for >> I didn't find an ending quotation mark. I did find one, but it's almost lie the dialogue switched from the doc to you.

GREAT last line. We must ALL pray more and fear less on many, many issues.

Yep, we all want God to be that genie, not realizing that the genie bends to our will, with us as the master. God will not bend. He is the ultimate Master. We're a bunch of idiots! :)

I enjoyed this a lot. I share your concerns and, even hainvg had the virus, am hesitant to take the vaccine. And I have also never had the flu shot, so I guess I'm just following my normal course. ð?¤·â??â??ï¸?
Blessings, keep praying and stay safe!

Excellent commentary. I don't think add cuss is acceptable, but anything seems to go through this pandemic. I think when it comes to new science things, everything has a trial and error. It's more like who would like to be the test dummy.

I heard a horror story last week. An essential worker, a man, asian american, strong and healthy through the start of this pandemic... Well, he was offered and took the vaccine. A week later, he's a covid statistic. It's like taking the flu shot and getting a cold for him.

Let us pray that's a minimal occurance.

I think it's a great post that articulates these feelings of how we look at God; to many people, he IS that genie in a bottle, there to do our bidding, whenever we need or want something. In life, Jesus talked about serving others, being humble, loving your neighbor. The story of Job talks about how adversity and challenge of life can lead to stronger faith, stronger will. I liked how you used the coronavirus epidemic to make points about how selfish we all can be sometimes. estory

Unfortunately we forget about God the minute our wish come true...

Good for you, my friend. I agree. I even said when they were talking about the vax being just around the corner. "Watch, they will never get it out to the people and when they do, there will be side effects that might be worse. I will wait for a while thanks. good essay, Iza. Bob

Oh yes indeed, fear is quite obviously the opposite of faith, and it's impossible for both to function in the same room. In fact not even mentioned in the same breath. Well done Iza, good talking it over well done, blessings Roy

I was very concerned by the ending till I remembered that this was satirical! People really do claim to follow extensive research and professionals only and then decide that those professionals are out to get them! Only a Facebook post knows the truth. Very well written, thank you for writing it

This work has reached the exceptional level

"He who expecteth not is leastwise disappointed." I agree with you, it's too early and they are rushing it through. We don't get ours till March. I think fear and govt. drives these prompts to get it done quickly. We had the same thing here, two out of three people had apoplectic shock and it was taken off the market. "Fear, the only way out is through."

Hello, my friend, I am not ready for it, and I am trying to delay it as much as possible.

You will know when the time is right. This virus keeps mutating, not going away like the flu.
