This is a very well written poem, meeting the requirements, and it brings a sense of quiet peace. Certainly it is finding joy in the quiet beautiful aspects of nature and savouring them. Best wishes for the contest.

Sometimes we do need to just stop a see the beauty in the world. Good presentation. You have a nice peaceful piece. A good time to present it as snow has just begun. Soon we will be annoyed of dirty slush.

I love watching the snow fall, it is calming and gives us a cosy feeling, it slows time and gives us a chance to recharge our batteries, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This was a fun poem! You stayed true to the guidelines and created beautiful imagery as well. I enjoyed imagining snowflakes in the short, but specific way you described them.
Good luck to you in the contest!

'To Just Pause', is an extremely well-written, and delightfully descriptive piece. With a minimum of words, this talented poet has told it as it is. Woven through each short line are the golden threads of truth. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Hello, anonymous,
Great entry for the 3-7-5 writing prompt contest. Good syllable count and connection between lines. I like the theme of being present.

I never thought of snowflakes falling of being in the present moment, but you are right. When I watch snow fall, it is very relaxing and peaceful. A lot of meaning in so few words.

It's amazing how you can get beautiful words into such a short amount of syllables allowed. I never thought of snowflakes as dancing, but that is exactly what they do. The image you chose is lovely also. Beautifully written. Good luck in the contest.

Watching snowflakes is a beautiful past time that I have participated in. The use of the word 'dance" adds a feel of fantasy to the beautiful snowflakes coming down. Excellent use of words.
