Excellent little dribble flash. It took me a couple of reads to sort out 'he' from 'she', but there is a lovely twist at the end and of course one has to spot the key word, 'stingy'.

I missed your writings, even the short ones. If you redid the first paragarph, this would not only be dribble flash fiction, but an all-dialogue work as well! Very diverse from the family sagas I've been used to.

Lol I think the answer to "is she as stingy as she had claimed?" would be a definite yes. I read it a couple of times before the punchline clicked in to my head lol. Good luck.

Thank you for the review. I was listening at a recording of my favorite commedian yesterday and thinking of how she always talked about how stingy her husband was. He did go to her shows though.
