Such an eloquent poem, with the thoughts as sad and gray as the words. I was glad to see it was not an autobiography. You did a wonderful job sucking the color even from the usually colorful and exciting food.

Many good lines here, such as: "A solitary bull breathed thin vapour across our final olive grove," and "as daylight drained from the cobbled streets." Poem sets a wonderful scene and mood. VanGogh's artwork is perfect accompaniment.

Thank God, it's not autobiographical, hahaha!

It is a sad story of a dying relationship, I guess? I think, I felt this every time I feel bad and my marriage is rocked the hardest.

I was a bit disappointed that it was not biographical, because I was going to stop pummeling you with questions! LOL. Still it was a great poem, conveying the fullness you normally only find in life's experiences.
