RE: Fascism

You're the one who is creating a smoke screen by implying very clearly with your words that military forces assaulted civilians, when absolutely no such evidence exists at this time. Now you are trying to back away from that, and saying that it remains to be seen if they will do so. It’s pretty clear though that your attitude is to denigrate US troops regardless of whether it is honest to do so.

RE: Fascism
At work now, so unlikely to be able to respond much.

I said "forces", that includes the police force. Nowhere did I say Marines or National Guard had been involved (yet). In fact, I've repeatedly identified cops as the perpetrators.

Presumably your familial connection with Marines led you to take umbrage with something I didn't say.

Now that you're hopefully done deflecting, can we move on?

RE: Fascism

I've just seen enough of how the military operates (and I know plenty of people in the military besides family, been on military bases, studied history and training procedures) to know that what you were saying was probably bullcrap. For everyone's benefit, for a third time I am pasting your exact words, which you conveniently deleted, thinking no one would call you on it:

As one of the videos I posted pointed out, when people are confronted by police and troops wielding clubs, teargas and rifles and dressed in body armour and riot gear, and those forces begin attacking not only the few protestors hurling rocks, but non-violent protestors

Why don't you just own your words and admit you were wrong? Or are you going to wait for some new material to show up in a day or a week to try to vindicate yourself, post-facto.

Look, let's switch to something you actually know something about: horses. Kindly analyze the video you posted in a non-partisan manner and tell us what is actually happening. Is the guy being bullied or is he being protected? Or is it a little of both? Whatever you say, you're the expert. Share your knowledge.

RE: Fascism
So that's what this is about? All this whining, repeatedly accusing me of deleting stuff, reposting the same thing you 'caught' me saying before I destroyed it?

Whatever you are on, get off it before it does permanent damage. The exact words are still there in plain view, page 5, first post. And I've never denied saying them. I've also explained them every time you've posted them. Now get off the drugs, apologise and move on. I'll address the other nonsense later.

Page 6. I'm on my phone and distracted by my job. What's your excuse?

Be a man, admit wasting everyone's time and falsely accusing me, apologise and move on.

RE: Fascism

OK, so it is there. I can't keep track of your posts when you are constantly editing them. I checked the thread like three times. Fine, you didn't try to change the words I quoted, this time. You did however make a claim that was inaccurate, which you have declined to own up to, and instead provided some sort of Clintonian rationale for it. So if you apologize for that, I will apologize. Have fun at work and get back to me later on the horses.

RE: Fascism
You're a real piece of work.

You spend post after post harassing me like some petulant child about my "removing" something I never removed.

Then, instead of admitting your blunder and apologising, you double down with this piece of garbage:

"Fine, you didn't try to change the words I quoted, this time."

As I've told you before, if I change a post, which I do frequently because my typing is crap, and I'm often in a hurry, as I actually have a real job and limited time, it's for one of the following reasons:

* spelling, grammatical, or typographical errors;
* I realise something I've said could be misinterpreted or factually incorrect;
* to add some extra, relevant detail that occurs to me after I've finished posting;

I never change a post after someone has already commented in order to go back on something I've said.

In fact, you may recall that on one occasion in the past day or two, I specifically drew your attention when I saw that you had posted while I was in the process of editing. I did that explicitly to avoid the sort of false accusation you are now making.

It's time you and your fellow right-wing mouthpiece both pulled your heads in. You throw around accusations of lying like they are going out of style.

Yet your mate is constantly making absolute crap up and posting it here as fact, and he's always getting caught at it.

So far, you don't seem as inclined to that sort of shenanigans, but you're certainly not averse to creating your own unique "interpretations" of things no sane person would accept, as I will demonstrate when I get around to addressing your "analysis" of the mounted police.

Now stop it. Grow up and debate the issues instead of these ridiculous ad-hominem attacks.
