“While the supreme court allowed Donald Trump back on the ballot on technical legal grounds, this was in no way a win for Trump. The supreme court had the opportunity in this case to exonerate Trump, and
they chose not to do so,” Noah Bookbinder, the president of Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington, the left-leaning group that backed the Colorado case, said in a statement. “The supreme court removed an enforcement mechanism, and in letting Trump back on the ballot, they failed to meet the moment. But it is now clear that Trump led the January 6 insurrection, and it will be up to the American people to ensure accountability.”
So there, those two courts found that Trump HAD engaged in insurrection, AS I SAID. The Supreme court refused to go against that finding, and if you can find any evidence to the contrary, produce it. The sheer stupidity of your arguments, not to mention the fact that they appear to be plucked from an alternate universe, is depressing. I suggest you go do what you are good at.

Oh, my! It seems that TWO courts did indeed find Trump committed insurrection and SCOTUS did indeed decline to disagree.
So now who's telling lies.

Two courts who had no jurisdiction. About as useful and relevant as a divinity degree given out by Fred Phelps, the actual doctorate degree awarded to Jill Biden, or a donated egg from Chelsea Manning,

Again, you lied. Those state courts, in blue states, by democrat AGs, in democrat controlled stated supreme courts, made a "finding" the Trump in Washington DC committed an insurrection. When Trump was never charged, arrested, indited, for this "FEDERAL OFFENSE" did something unconstitutional. These 'Findings" without a trial, jury, or defense, AND NO DUE PROCESS, decided this, so a Republican Presidential candidate could be removed from Republican Primary ballot, and prevent republican from choosing Trump in a "democratic" primary election.
You know by the same people today (you guys included) who screamed that Trump was a "Threat to democracy" and screamed of illegals to get DUE PROCESS.
Then you site "a self-described" left-leaning source to interpret what SCOUTUS meant, when they UNAMIMOUSLY 9-0 declared that farce Unconstitutional.
You guys are more than liars and hypocrites. DO you see what hate for a guy, you've never met, never voted for, don't live with or under, on the other side of the planet has done to you?

CD, I'm a moron. You spend nearly every day, For TEN YEARS screaming about the President of a country on the other side of the planet from you. That has virtually no effect on your life.
You talk, write and rant more about a country you don't live in than your own. You research, study, follow, and live the politics of a country, you don't live in and will never be a citizen of. You follow our President, Congress, courts, laws, immigration, news, and gossip. DO you even care about your own people or nation?

The funniest part is, the two people claiming Trump is guilty of insurrection, and citing that bogus Colorado "finding" are not Americans. Notice, none of the actual Americans who also dislike Trump are speaking and backing them on this. Because Americans know what Colorado and the Democrats tried to do, in removing Trump from the ballots was completely wrong. And it was those types of Undemocratic injustices that helped put Trump back into the White House.
Also, when Democrats forced Biden (who won the democratic primary, the people's elected choice) out, and installed Harris in, that showed who was really a threat to democracy.

^^ Correct. Democrats who enthusiastically supported Harris lost the right to refer to themselves as democratic after the last election, and everyone with integrity in their party said as much.
Including BLM, a group I disagree with often, but they're also a group which understands how consequences work in American politics.

If you are not interested in discussions about lies, liars and the dishonest and reprehensible tactics employed by those who cannot mount a coherent argument, please feel free to skip this post now.
There are four defining characteristics about the worst type of purveyors of falsehoods:
1. They post ridiculous statements with no basis in fact, and present them, not as opinions, but as truth.
2. They have so embraced their twisted view of reality, they often don’t even realise they are lying.
3. Even if they do, they would rather tell bald-faced, obvious lies that they know will be caught out, rather than admit to being wrong or deliberately deceptive.
4. They constantly accuse anyone who opposes their point of view of lying, without any justification, in order to try to hide their own lies.
These characteristics are, of course, exhibited in spades by the Liar-In-Chief currently occupying the White House. They are also embraced wholeheartedly by his adoring flock. On the other hand, people who tell the truth do not make up statements which have no basis in fact, and claim them to be true. They reference and support what they claim when challenged.
Let’s look at some examples from this thread that illustrate perfectly the above. I’ll indicate which of the above four evils are being demonstrated as we go along:
Lancellot: "I've watched many news reports of the riots in LA, and no matter how the media and politicians spin it, the vast majority of comments, eve, on CNN, ABC, and such, are against the protestors, media, and lying politicians." (1)
Me: "So show us the "vast majority" of video clips on CNN, ABC, NBC and the like to which you're referring. We're waiting."
Lancellot: No response.
Me: [Many posts later] "We're still waiting for all those videos showing mainstream media blaming the protesters, the press, and the lying politicians for what is going on in LA…. Are you ready to admit you were lying, or are you going to produce all the videos?
Lancellot: No response.
Many, many posts later, there is still no response to the challenge I made. Lancellot’s silence simply shows what any reasonably intelligent person would have seen right off – that his statement about the majority of mainstream media reports being against the media, the "lying politicians" and the protesters, is an absolute fabrication. If he could have shown otherwise he would have. A brazen and bald-faced lie. And of course, common sense shows it immediately to be so.
Another example of the behaviour of liars follows a statement I made concerning Trump:
Me: "At least two courts found him guilty of insurrection. Even SCOTUS, which, of course, he stacked to favour himself, didn't find otherwise."
Lancellot: "This is a bold faced LIE. I don't personally like President Trump. But, what's the point of telling such lies? Why? What good does it do?" (4)
And then we have this subsequent rant:
Lancellot: "CD, this is an outright LIE. When were the trials? Where were the trials? When was Trump charged or indited for insurrection? When was he convicted guilty? What was his sentence? Was it a felony offense? Who were the prosecutors? Who was Trump's defense lawyer? Who was on the juries? Come on, you are an advocate for Due Process, remember? When was this Due Process? Please... CD, show everyone you're not a liar. OR be a man and admit you lied. It's okay to hate Trump. He does a lot things, so you don't have to lie. So, why do it? (4)
So, I did what any honest person would do, I backed my claims up with facts. Citing references, I produced reports showing both a District Court and the Supreme Court of Colorado stated in their finding that Trump had engaged in insurrection. I produced another article showing that, in spite of having the opportunity to do so, SCOTUS did not state that they found Trump had not committed such an offence. All of these statements are true, and cannot be contested. Multitudes of media outlets reported so, indicating all my statements to be correct. The response?

So on the basis that he doesn’t believe the courts had jurisdiction in the matter, Lancellot calls my reporting of the actual findings of the courts lies. This is not only completely ridiculous and wrong, it is a dishonest attempt to hide the fact that he himself was unaware of the facts. Whether or not what they found was valid, in all three cases my reporting was true.
Lancellot: "You guys are more than liars and hypocrites"
I’ll let the reader be the judge of who is the liar and hypocrite. Personally, I’d rather forget about the childish insults, the transparent lying, the false accusations, and the denying the right of others to an opinion, and simply argue the politics. But of course, those who only get their opinions from right-wing propagandists haven’t a hope under such circumstances, so this is where we find ourselves – irrelevant and boring to and fro about nothing… except maybe who values honesty.
I’ll attend to more such claims, by another staunch Trump defender, later.
