Context is such a bugger:

LMAO

"?There are no banned, prohibited or forbidden words at the CDC - period." Meanwhile, anonymous sources at the Department of Health and Human Services told the National Review's Yuval Levin this week that any language changes did not originate with political appointees, but instead came from career CDC officials who were strategizing how best to frame their upcoming budget request to Congress."

So, in other words...

"There aren't any changes, and we didn't initiate them" ROFL

And furthermore...

'Despite what you may have heard, the alleged "ban" of seven words does not reveal a secret "War on Science"... A more sober measure of this soggy crumb of news -one that's, well, evidence-based rather than reflexive- suggests it should be understood as a byproduct of the Trump administration's much-less-secret war on science funding.'

So they don't hate science - except that they do.

Genius writing.

Hey CD, it really shocks me that you missed the context of the piece, to continue spinning your brand of sophistry. Lol. Hey Merry anual celebration of our Dear Savior's birth to you , and to all.

Well DJ, it doesn't shock me at all that as a fan of all things dystopian, you'd be super-impressed at this randomly assembled collection of alternative facts and newspeak.

I'm excitedly making the celebratory preparations at this very moment - dressing up the alpacas as reindeer in swaddling clothes, stuffing the inflatable Joseph in the chimney stack, etc.

Merry xmas to you too, DJ!

Hey Craig, I hope your Christmas was well.
The only distopia that I find that I an concerned with is the one that likes to convince people that they were not beautifully and wonderfully created with a glorious purpose. for their souls, minds and bodies being brought into being. Hey Craig, try opening up that old Manual, earnestly and humbly asking its Author to speak to you. It just might turn your distopic Xmas into a utopic Christmas. Just know CD, that I am still praying for you, my Truth seeking brother. ( The Lord tells me that your beautiful mind could do some glorious things for His kingdom.)
Blessings

I really hate to think of you wasting all that time and energy on my account, Doug. I'm actually pretty much content with my lot, humble as it may be. Perhaps you'd be better off focusing your prayers on some of the babies who'll be born with not enough food to sustain them, or who have, through no fault of their own, contracted life-threatening illnesses. Or even those who have been and will be hideously betrayed by people entrusted with the care of their souls.

What was the glorious purpose for which Charles Manson was beautifully and wondrously created, DJ? Or Ted Bundy?

Enough of that. Out with the old (year) and in with the new. So let me take the opportunity to express my wish that 2018 will be the year that you dust off some true books of wisdom - ones that don't have numbered paragraphs. In short, I hope you have a great and reality-based new year.

And may those currently charged with running your country not succeed in their self-serving attempts to destroy its language and its history, and thereby, its future.

"And may those currently charged with running your country not succeed in their self-serving attempts to destroy its language and its history, and thereby, its future."

Amen to that, Craig. It IS what the Restoration movement of the Constitution is all about, as witnessed by electing Mr. Trump. ( Even if they do kill him, or remove him it WILL continue). This even Despite all the efforts of the self serving language , history and culture and future destroyers of the forces that the likes of you and Mrs. Majors and others love being under the spell of. THAT, my friend is the reality. Now I must get back to studying that old trusty Manual. ( That is so full of wisdom that people cared enough to catalog and number its paragraphs.)

As for Mr. Bundy, and Mr. Manson.... Not living up to what God created them for... Didn't you forget about another couple hundred million names? (At least). I'm not sure what ridiculous point you were making with that. As far as the manual is concerned for us current earth dwellers, there are two kinds of people. Those who repent and follow the ways of the Lord to have relation with HIM, and those who have not, or will not. That is the only reality I choose to live in. But Blessings to you, and I'll continue praying for you. That manual tells me somewhere, that it's not a waste of time at all. I must go look up the verse number now. Lol.

Craig,Happy New year, and yes ...In 2018 , in with the new ( may there be an awakening for you, and millions of others. That would be a fabulous thing!!!)

You say:
"Perhaps you'd be better off focusing your prayers on some of the babies who'll be born with not enough food to sustain them, or who have, through no fault of their own, contracted life-threatening illnesses. Or even those who have been and will be hideously betrayed by people entrusted with the care of their souls. "

By "no fault of their own" I am quite sure that you could include those babies, (probably millions of them) born, damaged by the loving vaccines of the likes of that "loving " carer for our bodies...Mr Bill Gates and his most loving Gates Foundation. There is a start for an awakening. I will leave such research up to you, if you free willingly choose.

There IS ONLY ONE place to look for the care of our souls. And that includes quite intimately, The Word ( Jesus aka the Manual) Once you get the care of your soul part down, The Word leads you on that quest that just might entice one to want to be a TRUE carer for men's bodies AND souls. I am really quite humbly just starting on this journey. It's a lifelong quest and it's the reason God Gloriously created us for. Just some thoughts.

I take a more pragmatic approach, believing every child born is entitled to food, shelter and spiritual guidance. I see no justice in bringing unwanted children in the world who will never be offered the most basic necessities in life.

If that means birthcontrol, the morning after pill or early stage abortion, then I feel no judgement. An unwanted child has no equality and a diminished chance to enjoy life or contribute to society.

What confuses me about some people who want to condemn women for expecting control of their own bodies is their indifference once the child is born. Chip is in limbo--WHY? The education system does not offer universal standards or opportunities. Why? Families don;t have enough money to buy healthy food. Why? The foetus seems to draw more compassion than the living child.
