RE: Who knows the answer?
So let me ask you this, Steve, do you think Biden could've campaigned, won the election, and served another four years?
And if hiding a serious medical condition from Americans and the world is spousal loyalty, just how far does this spousal loyalty extend? For example, if a first lady knew her husband planned to strategically launch nukes would it be okay because of spousal loyalty for her to keep quiet about it?
You clearly didn't do any research.
RE: Who knows the answer?
Doesn't look like you did much either. You just throw out hypothetical questions...
What if Jill Biden didn't actually 'know' that her husband was in cognitive decline? After all, he is still functioning pretty well right now - probably at a higher level under extreme pressure than either you or I could muster.
What if the freak-out of the debate WAS actually just a glitch caused by disease/exhaustion and other minor gaffes and halting speech are simply attributable to his history of stammering making him appear much worse than he is?
What if he's way more coherent on a day to day basis than Trump? He is!
What if he's still around in five years' time and still able to keep a train of thought, unlike Trump right now?
What if the only reason he stepped aside gracefully was because he was mentally competent enough to recognise that the mere appearance of cognitive decline was a strong enough reason to sacrifice his own further presidential aspirations?
Gee, these hypotheticals are fun, aren't they?
RE: Who knows the answer?
To sum up Steve's point:
What if Joe Biden finally beat Medicare?
RE: Who knows the answer?
Yes, that was a watershed moment in the debate when Trump looked over at Biden who stood there slack-jawed and glassy-eyed. When asked to retort, Trump said something to the effect of I don't know what he is talking about ... and I don't think he does either.
What if that disastrous clip of Biden were put in an ad and played over and over and over again?
RE: Who knows the answer?
Then the general public might be forgiven for assuming he wasn't up to the task of being President for another term. And guess what? He won't be.
So we had two candidates whose cognitive abilities drew into serious question their ability to govern the country for the next four years. Now we are down to only one candidate who fits that bill. Let's hope people don't vote for that choice.
RE: Who knows the answer?
CD, nice to see us agreeing. Voting for Harris would indeed be a mistake.
RE: Who knows the answer?
Whether you like her or not, it's a stretch to question her cognitive abilities. Not so much the other clown.
RE: Who knows the answer?
Speaking of which, there is this. I don't think it requires any commentary from me.
RE: Who knows the answer?
CD, I was hoping you were going to bring up Harris's stunning cognitive abilities. Here is a sampling of some of here most erudite public comments.
Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that's wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.
The Governor and I and we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time. Right? The significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children and what that means to the future of our nation, depending on whether or not they have the resources they need to achieve their God-given talent.
[on COVID-19] It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day. Every day, it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down.
You know, when we talk about our children - I know for this group, we all believe that when we talk about the children of the community, they are a children of the community.
[on sexual assault accusers against Joe Biden] I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it.
You need to get to go, and you to be able to get where you need to go, to do the work, and get home.
The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea. And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring.
[on abortion] So I think it's very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future.
I think culture is, it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment. And we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy, because every, you know, it comes in the morning.
When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.
The importance of community banks is they are, as they are called, they're in the community.
[on the NCAA women's tournament] Do you know that the women's teams were not allowed to have brackets until 2022?
It is status-quo thinking to believe that putting more police on the streets creates more safety. That's wrong. It's just wrong.
We have to stay woke. Like everybody needs to be woke. And you can talk about if you're the wokest or woker, but just stay more woke than less woke.
[on cloud storage] So given where we are now, so no longer are you necessarily keeping those private files in some file cabinet that's locked in the basement of the house. It's on your laptop, and it's then therefore up here in this cloud that exists above us.
RE: Who knows the answer?
Yep, some of those things sound pretty asinine; although none of them come close to the incoherent babble that comes from the mouth of the orange one.
I assume you have references for all of them?
Did you even watch the video? I wonder if you have the gumption to answer one very simple question: do you intend to vote for Donald Trump in a few days' time?
