RE: JoJo's Latest Screw Of American Taxpayers

Hi Yvonne, how are you?

I appreciate your comments and they need to be discussed further.

As for Afghanistan, with all due respect- I think it is a far reach to say this would never have happened under Trump. In fact, given the histrionics of his dealing with the Taliban, one can never assess that there would not be a worse case scenario.

Afghanistan was a huge deal and still is. It is raw and it is tragic. However, in all fairness, are you really blaming Biden completely for the fallout? The gravest mistake he and Trump did not do, is listen the their military advisors.

Why are we discussing Trump now? I am discussing him because he is a big part of what is happening today with yes- Afghanistan, with the pandemic and our economy, and with the border crisis.

Yes, no one is denying the border crisis. Not anyone. But if you will please take another look as to what I wrote. It is my understanding that the families who have trekked to the United States seeking asylum were the ones who do have a case against the United States Government.

Basic human rights were violated against human beings- children being ripped from their parents and as it stands today- I do not have the exact numbers- but many are still not united with their parents. In the case of man?s inhumanity to man- where in the world does anything qualify another human being or government agency to rip a child from his parents except in abusive and negligent situations. Where would it be abusive for a parent to flee another country because of fear or to better their lives? Where? Where does such an action justify? Why are people coming here or why are they trekking long journeys with little money and children in tow, if it wasn?t for the dream of bettering their lives or for the fear and unsafe conditions from war torn countries. Do you think for one minute it is easy for them. Of course you don?t ! because your heart is pure gold and good.

I have two wee grandsons. One is three, the other six. They are joyful happy kids because they have stability and love. Basic human needs which is imperative. They love to be with me and we spend endless hours together, but rest assured- even if it is in the middle of the night and they want their mommy or daddy- I move Heaven and earth to bring them back to them.

I have a good friend who has an autistic three year old. He is clingy to his mom and a stable familiar environment is the only thing which can calm him. Close your eyes and imagine these frightened little ones at the border. Separated from all they have ever known and housed amid strangers and other frightened children. Can you imagine their fear and their trauma?! Plus, if they are on the autism spectrum, it is even worse. Have we become so calloused toward our fellow man that we fail to account for such scenarios or just choose to ignore it, because we have the scarcity mentality.

We as a people have to demand of our government to find a solution which is win/ win for all. It starts with us- you and I, on the local level.

As for taking care of our own, believe me- we sorely lack in that department too. It is an embarrassment. Our orphans, our tired and poor, our aged, our mentally ill, many of our veterans homeless and all the homeless and our children living in poverty. There is no excuse for this. We are one of the richest countries in the world. The problem with many who say we need to take care of our own first, is that they possess what I alluded to earlier -the scarcity mentality. We certainly have the means to ameliorate these issues. But we are so afraid and conditioned to believe, if we take care of of this, we cannot take care of that.

The problem is, Yvonne, we can acknowledge these issues everyday. Our anger and disheartened feelings may motivate us to speak up but we simply lack the ambition to turn these feelings into being proactive.

However, they are completely separate from the border crisis. We have the tools and the money at our disposal. There is no reason in this country for any child to go hungry or to live in poverty. This is what Biden is trying desperately to fix. We know it can?t be fixed in one day or even the length of one administration. Why? There are many reasons why. You need look no further than the forum. Our bias and values are the crux of these social issues. It has nothing to do with the border crisis. How many of us are calling out Biden?s proposals because of the imposed tax burden?

Yvonne, I am partially retired. Last year I had to pay out over 700 in taxes after filing. This was after the taxes deducted from my salaries, etc. Really? Because I am partime, my salary would be considered well well below poverty level. The same the year before which was a little over 600 and it was then I adjusted my tax liability. This was during the Trump era. What did Trump pay out last year? As a matter of fact- it has been shown that larger corporations who have tax favors do more investing with that extra money than increase salaries or create new jobs.

As for crime- I understand your concerns- but we also need to look at our citizens with utmost scrutiny. More serious crimes are committed by United States citizens than by illegal aliens. Yet, I do understand that there would be one less atrocious crime committed if we didn?t have the alien monster. Yes, I get it- but we can?t label every illegal immigrant as evil and dangerous. We can?t. I must emphasize, I am making a statement from observation among many statements from my peers and in these forum halls, and it is not implying you feel this way.

There?s a long dark winding road which passes behind our property. Fifteen years ago, a four year old girl was abducted, raped and mutilated and left for dead in the woods. It turns out, a neighbor was tried and convicted of the heinous crime. He was a citizen of the United States. A Caucasian and a known alcoholic. Does that mean that every Caucasian alcoholic male is or going to be a rapist or a murderer? You see, the unnecessary fear-monger rhetoric of which Trump was quite famous for, has influenced his supporters, though many do not see this conditioning. This is another reason why Trump is often a subject.

Please, let us not forget, he still is a huge mouthpiece for his supporters. He hasn?t gone gently into that good night. Can we agree on this? His intent is to always be present to rile and rally. His kind of rhetoric daily qis the power he possesses to continually create divisiveness among the masses. Unity among his supporters is the only thing which counts to Trump, not our country.

Whether, you choose to agree or not, I feel Biden is trying very hard to unite our brokenness. Unfortunately- it might be too broken. When political beliefs can muster hate and intolerance and come between family and friends- as we see so evident in the past five years- how can we even begin to mend the fretted ties of our democracy. How? How can one man and his administration put our brokenness back together when all of us are guilty of wielding our sledgehammers.

As you may well know, I do not claim to be Christian because it appears to be as if hypocrisy has married many so called Christians. It is evident in these forum halls. However, it doesn?t in any mean I do not find solace and comfort in great men with good character and values regardless of their religious affiliation or any of the naysayers or villains who have bastardized their faith.

I will close on this, because I do respect the wisdom of this Pope.

Yvonne, with respect, I could argue against every single point you made in your post, starting with the huge lie that the US has open borders. That is simply wrong.

And of course the statement that these people are being paid money for breaking the law is also totally wrong. If they receive any payout, it will be because the US government under Trump committed crimes under international laws in the way that they were treated.

And why do we continue to bash Trump a year after he was voted out? because he continues to lie and claim that the election was rigged. That lie continues to divide the country and of course led to the failed insurrection at the Capitol.

Maybe ask yourself why Trump is right now desperately fighting to keep documents hidden that reveal the truth of what happened and why on Jan 6th.

If he has nothing to hide, why not release all the information?

Grow a brain.

It doesn't matter if you have committed crimes in the eyes of the law. If someone else has committed crimes against you, then they are liable just as much as if you were an innocent child.

This is a legal process. The courts have decided that Trump acted illegally. Therefore the US government has to pay compensation for his criminal and inhumane acts.

Put the blame where it belongs, at the door of the Monster of Mar a Lago.

Grow a pair...
The only victims in this case are the American People...
When We break Our laws considered felony We are seperated from Our children...and recieve a criminal record not compensation. The whole concept is the criminal owing compensation to society.
I blame the biden blitzkrieg for not securing Our borders, and for trying to replace the American citizenry with foriegn investment. Because We stopped believing in them...traitors.
Trump is not responsible for their choice to break the law...but biden is for making so easy and then rewarding criminal behaviour.
And you...like when the freaks forgot how to be humans and raped, murdered and pillaged Our People...watch from the sidelines, encouraging the discontent and agreeing with their ridiculous reasoning. Go for it bidens only supporter, what do you got to lose, certainly not credibility.

No Linda Raven,

Trump has been polled as the second worse President to ever hold office.

His die hard supporters love him, but that does not constitute the most of the United States.

Your assessment that we hated him before he became President is an erroneous assumption. We, who found him a very childish, dangerous, impudent leader was not assessed until his words put into action into diabolical words and hate and divisive rhetoric after election. Charlottesville was a turning point, a very crucial turning point in realizing this guy has just revealed his latent racism to the ump degree. This is not taking into account his reputation in New York or calling for the death penalty for those young innocent African Americans.

Many who voted for Biden, could turn the tables on you. You, simply, hated Biden regardless, because you loved Trump and couldn?t see the forest for the trees.

I doubt you could even explain what Bidens platform platform was about, but I assure you- it was to heal the soul of this Nation. If wanting desperately to heal his Nation which he has served for many years through many personal tragedies and take on a Presidency he knew was rife with issues to be resolved and ultimately to be liable for was more than courageous, especially at his age and station in life. Initially, he didn?t want to take on this burden, but his deep abiding commitment to his country forced his hand.

Truly, it was you who hated Biden before he took office. You bought into every slanderous rumor and spinning of truth because it confirmed your heavily biased agenda.

Trump was a reality celebrity before election, nothing more than a man who screwed people out of millions, engaged himself in myriads of lawsuits, ran around on all three of his wives and displayed his vanity to the world. However, Reagan was also a well known actor and respected highly for his profession. But the very thing which stands out in difference between the two, Reagan was knowledgeable and far from as arrogant as Trump was and is. In that era, people voted for Reagan for perhaps the same reason you guys voted for Trump- ahh- he doesn?t reside in the political country of bribes and corruption. A fresh perspective.

I would most likely assume that we who didn?t vote for Trump, did so, because we didn?t care for his platform or the way he engaged himself. Many of us ascertained through his interviews, he did not know a lot of what he was talking about. It didn?t mean we hated him. He was running against someone whom many of us felt was much more qualified. But still, he was elected and this is a democracy and I feel most of us accepted and gave him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. It didn?t take long.

It was his way of handling important issues and causing unneeded divisiveness and undiplomatic muttering and actions which evoked at least 84 million of us to vote him out.

You on the other hand was so sure your man was going to win. It didn?t matter how, he was going to win in your mind regardless. It was your pride and is your pride which doesn?t allow you to back down and off. You arrogantly declared the virus would just suddenly up and disappear once the election was over. On what you based this erroneous prediction on is baffling, but you kept the spiel going. Well, it hasn?t disappeared.

Yet still, you again vociferously declare the election was rigged and there was immense voter fraud. Proven time and time again, not so. In fact, this was the most secure election ever to be held. Trump conditioned his followers long before the election and once he learned he was running against Biden, he turned up the volume say the only way he would lose is if the election was rigged. Well, at least you have to give him credit in being brilliant at conditioning his hateful followers. You bought it, hook, line and sinker. So much so, you will not accept proven facts.

The reality of it is you definitely hated Biden regardless. You would have hated anyone that won against Trump even if it was the Pope himself.

It is, also quite baffling to me, why you incessantly chant that everyone who has ever spoke against Trump within the administration or revealed their personal interactions with him as a challenge and quite nasty, or the media showing in real time his flagrant imbecilic words and often historically incorrect information as nothing but lies- lies I tell ya- lies! YET- you believe anything and everything your biased confirmation video propaganda says about Biden. As they are the truth and honest to Gawd nothing but the truth. You have selective ethics.

The difference between die hard Trump worshippers and those who voted for Biden, we hold Biden accountable for his mistakes and his polling numbers show it. To go so low in polling with 84 million having confidence in his mission is startling, but expected given what he is up against. People are tired and they are tired for many reasons. The pandemic, the loss of livelihoods, the heated and hateful political climate between communities and neighbors and friends. The uncertainty of our futures. No, Linda Raven- the fault doesn?t rest solely with the one you want and need so desperately to hate. Trump was the hailed Olympian contender who passed these ongoing issues to the new President. Trump was famous for saying I alone can fix it- fix what? What he tried so desperately to break? Perhaps this is what Milley and Espers mean by Wag the Dog.

You have never once held Trump responsible for any of his failings. Not once. Not once. As a matter of fact, neither has he. He?s famous for always blaming someone else and you buy into it, because that is what you do.

Have a great evening.

RE: JoJo's Latest Screw Of American Taxpayers
Michael, you obviously don't even understand your owm laws. It wouldn't matter if you were the biggest felon in the country, under the law if someone assaulted or robbed you, they could be arrested.

Trump made it official policy to separate children from their parents because his simplistic brain told him he had to be the tough guy who discouraged illegal immigrants from entering the country. It may even have worked to some extent.

I'm absolutely sure that his legal advisers would have told him at the time that it was risky legally, but he persisted with the policy until the outcry and the negative publicity became too much and he had to backtrack. Now the American taxpayer has to reimburse his victims. Like you, I am a little shocked at the suggested amount, but that is not fully determined yet.

I have no idea what you mean about the rape, murder and pillage, but I'm guessing that is yet another by-product of your belief in Trump's racist lies.

Prove it ...that those children werent seperated from their parents long before the Rio grand, that they werent sold or stolen, that infact the adult Male that accompanied them is their biological father. They should be seperated until proof is established for the childrens wellbeing.
Illegally entering sovereign Countries isnt a vacation, nor is it supposed to be....only the glue huffing liberalized out of their minds...name themselves after furry fruit.

I don't have to prove it because it's already been proven in a court of law and that is why you and other taxpayers are out of pocket by millions of dollars because of Trump's criminal stupidity.
