RE: Are we there yet?

Calling victoria out once again for nonsense talk. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts, and she never cites hers.

RE: Are we there yet?

I'm not contesting that Trump said those things. He did. The issue is with victoria equating opinions with facts in general.

I just don't get what you're saying, Harambe. Victoria pointed out the facts about what the President said. Then she offered her opinion on that. How many references do you want for that?

Look, I generally agree with what victoria is saying. I have no defense for many of the policies she contests. The lack of predictability, chivalry, and calibration from this administration is affecting many people adversely. It could get better, or it could get a lot worse.

If her perspective is "well I did all the research and this is my opinion, and you can have yours", absolutely. Who can contest that? But, if person A cites facts and person B says that it's just his opinion, and that person B has her own set of facts but can't be bothered to cite them, and go do your own research and you'll see for yourself! In this case we are dealing with a form of rhetorical narcissism.

Harambe,

Why not simply ignore my postings, because I intend to continue to post my opinions, just as the rest of you do...if you have a problem with that, I suggest you contact Tom...

You are not the owner of this site, yet you seem to believe that You can decide how things should be done...so if I'm not suiting You, it's best you contact
Tom.

You post as you see fit, your opinions are yours.

I have no intentions of dealing with you...and I'm serious when I say, if you have a problem with me, report it to Tom!

Just Some Thoughts

Why on earth would I "report" you for saying what you want on a political forum? That I'd undermine my entire platform of free speech to suppress you? On the contrary, I'm simply saying you could do better.

RE: Are we there yet?

Harambe,

Let's get something straight, I'm here on this forum to post my thoughts, and see what others here on Fanstory feel about the world today...I'm not like you, I don't have to impress anyone, so why don't you just do your positing, and I'll do mine.

Let's face it, I'm not in favor of trump, never have been...and what he is doing, in my opinion, is not what he promised his supporters when they voted him into office.

So nothing you post, will change my mind about the problems that the American people are facing today.

Perhaps you are not facing any, and that may be good for you, but surely not for everyone.

I prefer, Craig, Steve, Bill, and Emma, simply because I know all of them for quite a while, long before you came here, and I trust their opinions...
There are no foolish people on this forum now, none. and everyone of us pay for the privilege of posting here.

I would like to be able to respect the president of the United States, but that's not possible...No I'm not emotionally driven, but I do have the right to see what he's doing to those that fear him...and yes
many do.

If he had thought well enough before he started making all the tariffs changes he might have realized that heads of states are not his to manipulate as he sees fit.

So that's my train of thought, and if you and Lancellot don't agree with any of that, no problem at all..None!

I'm old enough to know what bothers me, and I can see right now that it's not only me...I choose not to ignore the thousands of Americans, from all parts of this country that are frustrated, and concerned about how this country is being turned upside down..with trump continuing to ignore the law..

I hope they continue to speak out, loud and clear at these rallies. If only to allow people to realize how the Constitution, and the rules of law is being ignored by the trump administration.

I only hope those that are seeking violence, stop and think about what they are doing...

Speaking out yes, but violence is not acceptable to me, and I know for a fact, it's not acceptable to anyone whose opinion I appreciate.

Just Some Thoughts

RE: Are we there yet?
Harambe, perhaps rhetorical narcissism or narcissistic rhetoric is accusing someone of having their own set of facts i.e. lying when the facts on this issue are clear for all to see, then seemingly getting a bug up your ass because one person here doesn't align with the way you think things should be done.

I don't see why you can't simply agree that Trump's words and actions are malign. Case over.
