If its joy that you are after
Try a little taste of laughter.
A bit of fun puts zing back in your life.
If you find your days depressing,
and around you folks are stressing,
a laugh, or two, can lighten up your strife.
If you search for something funny,
it won’t cost you any money,
and its been known to cure some dreaded ills.
It is true good friends can cheer you--
keep those upbeat people near you,
and maybe you can toss those potent pills.
You’ll live longer if you're happy.
I am sure this must sound sappy.
You owe yourself, at least, a valid try.
If you start off with a chuckle,
then your mood won't likely buckle,
and you’ll find you can kiss your blues goodbye. |
