A touch of Autumn brushed my cheek
such cool mystique
can quell the flames
as Summer wanes…
Farewell to ling’ring sweat-soaked days
and droll malaise
that traps the mind
to fate resigned…
Now sweet salvation’s cooling kiss
will soon dismiss
the heated chains
of Summer’s strain!
