    100 Word Story Contest Winner 

"That 'bout does it, Davey," the young plumber said as he wiped clean the trap. It was his second visit in less than a week.

The boy grinned. "I done it right then, stuffing all those lemon peels into the disposal?"


The plumber reached into a pocket and pulled out a quarter.

"Yep. Just like I told you and no real damage. The quarter's for calling me like you said you would."

A pretty young woman appeared and smiled.

"My brother and I are having lunch on the porch, Mr. Jones. Will you join us?"


"Love to," the plumber said.
