A Minute poem for the contest
Winds of Change by tfawcus
Minute contest entry

I hear the wind, its cleansing breath.
"Away with death,"
it seems to say
as brown leaves sway.

It gives a tug and sets them free
of winter's tree,
transformed, at last;
tomorrow's past.

Persephone will bring fresh birth
and springtime mirth;
a warmer breeze
that also frees.
