I think it’s easy to see, My Deadly Sin is Gluttony,   My stomach ain’t flat, It’s very very fat,   One downfall is potato chips, They go straight to my hips,   Mayonnaise I squeeze, On double stacked cheese,   I find it enticing, When thick as cake icing,   I have no alibi, For gulping down pizza pie,   I’m always in good cheer, After two sixers of beer,   Whenever I’m called fat, I give tit-for-tat,   There’s no debate, I can lose weight,   Then I say smugly, You’ll always be ugly.   Writing Prompt Write a poem that involves one of the seven deadly sins Recognized Author Notes Disclaimer- I am not a poet.
