Another day, another night,
a day with hope, a night with fright.
My older friends have passed away
and I must face another day.
I must be brave and make a show
to give my life a special glow.
The things I daily try to do
don't brighten life, nor hopes renew.
Now, I must try some other way,
to search and seek a better day.
For the wondrous powers that be
please, walk along this road with me.
Remove from me my doubts and fears,
let peace surround me, through the years.
Then I shall send my thanks to thee,
on life's road to eternity.
