Must There Be Ambiguous Wording? by Reese Turner
One Word Only contest entry

“Ambiguous” is the word I choose.
Of it there can be too many views.
Whether in reports or in the news
Ambiguous can bring cheers AND boos!

Ambiguous causes to scratch the head
Asking the meaning of what was said
Or written, to confusion we are led
By nonsensical wording we were fed.

Ambiguous is found often in my life
In my house, in discussions with my wife.
Her instructions usually cause me strife
Misunderstandings, my fault, are rife!

Ambiguous, the enemy of perfection
As it can lead to a missed direction
Example 1? How ‘bout any election?
So, ambiguous is my word selection.

Author Notes
Thanks to Toon clips for the picture.

I really can't add to what I wrote, and if I did, you might not understand what I said or what you think I said or meant. Anyway, next week we'll cover the exact intent of "whatever".
