We met for drinks, my friend and I.
We had two cola shakes and we split a fry.
We talked and laughed as old friends do.
Then, she said something quite out of the blue
“What is wrong with you?” I asked.
“Your not yourself, it’s like your wearing a mask.”
Then , my head began to spin and whirl
I, too , was not the same calm girl.
Others, in the ice-cream shop began to stare
We had become wild, quite the pair
My friend and I had climbed on top of the bar
We danced like some famous movie star
The owner cried , “you two better stop!”
“Stop or I’ll summon that cop!”
A tv crew came to film our crazy dance
That’s when a producer offered us the chance
We became reality stars in show biz
All because of what was in that cola-fiz.
